llynfi valley

This yellow Fungus looks like bracket fungus

The recent bad weather looks like it's taken it's toll on a lot of my nestboxes. Blue tits seemed to suffer the most with a high count of dead young in the nest boxes, most being around the same age including 1 adult blue tit sitting on young, another interesting thing is the clutch sizes of the tits averaged 6 eggs which is quite small again probably down to the lack of food available.

This young jackdaw was quite friendly kept opening his mouth for food, it's in safe hands the adult birds were going nuts.
And talk about nuts i saved this squirrel from the jaws of my dog a little wink and he was on his way

Psychoides verhuella
