Mynydd pwll yr lwrch slopes - cwmdu

A walk up the lower slopes to the no9 winder and across the lower slopes to cwmdu
1 Jack snipe my first for the year, flew up from little stream that runs along the front of the winder, frightened the life out of me, my dog had already walked straight passed it before it flew up from under me and then flew about 50 yds into the stream that runs below the track that leads up from the road. Also 2 heron's flew over from nanty heading towards cwmdu, 1 yellowhammer, 1 stonechat, 2 reed bunting, 6 mistle thrush singing, 3 buzzard, 2 green woodpecker, 1 great spotted woodpecker, and 1 lesser spotted woodpecker calling from trees beside Bryn Rhug farm, 2 redwing and a flock of noisy siskin behind the council yard in cemetery.
