Rare Fly has been confirmed as atylotus fulvus

The rare fly i reported earlier as a (atylotus rusticus) as now been confirmed by Sewbrec that it is infact (atylotus fulvus), and not rusticus as i first thought. The rusticus would have a dark femora where as this photo clearly shows that it is an orange like colour, it is the only species of this genus that would be expected to be seen in south wales area though still rare and a very good record they have been recorded nearby in crymlyn burrows in past years on one or two occasions. The only other species of this genus that might be recorded in wales is the (atylotus plebeius) that might creep into the northern parts of wales.
