Parc Slip

My son and I went to Parc Slip on Sunday (1st) for his first Birding trip. The usual Tits, Finches and a Nuthatch were on the feeders near the centre. We also had Teal and a Moorhen from the hide overlooking the northern Wetlands.

The undoubted highlight of the afternoon was this Bittern that gave us great views from the wader scrape hide. I then had to explain that he shouldn't expect this on every birding trip!

On route to Parc Slip we also saw 54 Lapwing and c150 Starling in a field at Mynydd Ty Talwyn.
