Aberavon

At last managed to get good views of ross's gull today at aberavon, the bird was resting on the beach before being flushed by a dog walker, then it landed on the sand banks of the river where it remained for about 2 hrs giving great views before being forced off with in-coming tide

Some cracking pics there Paul. As good as any I've seen elsewhere - all done without disturbing the bird too!!

Cheers darren goes to show you can get half decent images without getting too close! I can finally tick the bird now, i hate ticking a bird on brief views.
