Garnwen this afternoon

Checking out the insects on the flowers along the forestry track and came across myathropa florea that martyn had new for the valley in llangynwyd recently and i found a new one for the valley Dasysyrphus tricinctus thanks martyn for the info   also:

Dasysyrphus trinctus is also new for valley. On mapmate there are only two records for Glamorgan, the last in 1978 - well done. You should post your records in the hoverfly recording group page on facebook. Lots of good photos on that page now.
