Coytrahen to darren valley

Coytrahen a pair of redstart in private garden, house martin's nest building
Darren valley 1 swift, 2 garden warbler, blackcap, grey wagtail nest with dead young in next to the river, 2 canada geese over, 1 wood warbler singing briefly, but went quiet and didn't hear it again after half hour of listening
Also out of 94 nest boxes erected in various locations 69 are being occupied.
With another 15 to check

Mynydd ty talwyn

Glaucous gull still present in ploughed fields between cwm nant gwyn and cefyn ydfa, the bird was in ploughed field between the two valleys before flying off and landing in ploughed fields between cefyn ydfa and mynydd baeden also 1 wheatear in ploughed field and out of the valley 1 sedge warbler singing, sand martin and swallow

Zebra spider

I came across this zebra spider in the garden, they call it the zebra spider because of its black and white stripe's they are common throughout the uk between march and october, the zebra spider is a jumping spider and they use this method to catch their prey.
