Nice to see the sun out today lots of hovers in flight up garnwen mainly on the Ragwort and was nice to come across the not so common Nowickia ferox only a dozen or so records in glamorgan of this tachnid fly also my favourite hover of the day Helophilus trivittatus. I have only seen one of these before today yet there were 4 in a 100 yd stretch
